Hip Bursitis. Inflamed fluid-filled sacs causing pain on the outer hip, often worse with walking or climbing stairs.
Labral Tears. Tears in the cartilage rimming the hip socket that cause pain, clicking, and instability during movement.
Snapping Hip Syndrome. An audible snap or pop as tendons move over bony structures, often with pain during movement.
Femoral Acetabular Impingement. Abnormal contact between the ball and socket of the hip joint, limiting range of motion with certain movements.
Piriformis Syndrome. Irritation of the sciatic nerve by a buttock muscle, causing pain that may radiate down the leg.
